Hi, I’m Tom.
I’m a 21 year old marketer and web designer indigenous to Michigan. I got started making money online when I built and later sold my first website at the age of 15. Ever since then, I’ve always been looking for ways to make money online while working my way through school. I was eventually turned onto this concept of internet marketing which captivated me and I became addicted.
Throughout my internet marketing adventures I’ve been testing, experimenting and crafting new ways to make money using only the internet and some (occasionally crazy) ideas. I have one confession to make, I’ve worked a job I hated – but only one. For a little over a year I held a job as a customer service rep at the college I am attending. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I was meant to do something bigger and better than a 9-5 which led to me leaving that job and pursuing internet marketing full time. From the day I quit I declared I would forever be engaged in a battle against the 9-5 lifestyle and help anyone I can to avoid working a job they don’t LOVE.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill internet marketing blog by any means for a few reasons:
1.) I’m not just a marketer – I’m also a designer. Because I was a designer before a marketer I pay special attention to aesthetics, color usage, and other principles of design. What that means is I won’t only give you insight to what works but WHY and WHICH certain design aspects work.
2.) I try new things. Most internet marketing bloggers have the tendency to regurgitate the same information over and over. It’s disgusting to see how one will talk about a certain method or idea and the rest will follow suit shortly after. I focus on innovations and new ideas which is where the true money is.
3.) I’m Young. I’m much younger than your average internet marketer. I’m always looking for the next big thing and won’t pigeon hole myself to a method because it’s been working for x amount of years.
I made this blog to chronicle my internet marketing adventures and hear the input of others. I’m not just here to get you into some intricate sales funnel to hawk worthless products to you – I truly want to help. If you have anything to add to a post or a question please don’t hesitate to respond!
